Triangle Area Naturists (TAN) is a friendly social club that promotes clothing-optional recreation and social naturism. We believe the human body is natural and wholesome, and we provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where adults can enjoy the freedom and comfort of living au naturel.

Located in North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle, TAN is a non-landed club, meaning we do not own or operate a permanent facility. Instead, our members gather for social events at private homes and enjoy group outings to beaches and other clothing-optional destinations throughout North Carolina and beyond.

Our diverse and welcoming community enjoys spending time together, whether relaxing by the pool, sharing a potluck meal, traveling, playing games, or simply talking and laughing with friends. If you enjoy skinny-dipping, sunshine, and good company in a friendly clothing-optional setting, TAN may be a great fit for you.

During the summer, we typically gather two to three times per month for activities such as potluck pool parties, picnics, and group travel. Throughout the rest of the year, we usually meet once or twice a month for indoor gatherings, including themed potluck dinners, Halloween celebrations, game nights, and other social events.
